When Olympic Gold Medal winning wrestler Mark Schultz is invited by wealthy heir John du Pont, to move on to his estate and help form a team for the Seoul Olympics, Schultz jumps at the opportunity, hoping to finally step out of the shadow of his revered brother. Fueled by du Pont's increasingly strange behavior, the trio is propelled towards a tragedy no one could have foreseen. Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo both garnered Oscar nods for their work in this film.
