Kumihimo is a form of Japanese braiding using various types of stringing material. In this project you will learn how to create a flat braided bracelet using the kumihimo technique. The bracelet will double wrap the wrist and have charms dangling from the cord. Supplies (leather cord, end caps, toggles, rings and charms) will be provided but students can bring their own charms. Examples of charms are birth stones, flowers, hearts, animals, etc. Any top drilled charm will work. No experience is required.
