Jewelry Making: Wire Wrapped Rings
Thursday, May 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Instructor: Toni Hockman
Cost:$35 All materials provided.
In this beginner class you will be wrapping single beads or crystals with artistic wire to make unique rings. Learn coiling techniques and how to use a mandrel to size the wire to make rings to fit any finger size. All the material for the rings will be available and include a 12 mm light gold Swarovski pearl, a diagonal-cut Swarovski heart crystal, a 12 mm fancy metal bead, and a jump-ring center piece that the student will make by coiling wire. Other beads of various shapes and sizes will also be available. You are welcome to bring your own beads too if you like. (Be sure that the beads you bring are center-drilled along the length of the bead.)
