Learn from a renowned master pastel painter in this series focused on still life. Millie will guide you in the purchase of your own materials. She uniquely uses the pastel medium to portray everyday objects in a new light. Playing lights against shadows and layering color over color, she is able to give a three dimensional look and feel to her paintings. By patiently building up layers of pastels she develops the rich textures and colors. She hopes that each new exploration into color and light will give the viewer a deeper understanding of her subjects. These are skills that she will generously share with her students.
