Directed by Ralph Fiennes, The White Crow charts the iconic dancer Rudolph Nureyev who famously defected from the Soviet Union to the West in 1961, despite KGB efforts to stop him. The film follows his whirlwind career as one of the top ballet dancers of his time to his escape to France to seek asylum from a totalitarian regime. The White Crow is a testament to the power of dance and the sheer will it takes to survive under any circumstance.
