I Can Only Imagine 2

After the breakout success of the song “I Can Only Imagine,” MercyMe’s Bart Millard (John Michael Finley) is living the dream—sold-out arenas, a devoted fan base, and a thriving career. But behind the spotlight, Bart’s past threatens the family he’s built, especially the fragile bond with his son, Sam (Sammy Dell).
When hopeful newcomer Tim Timmons (Milo Ventimiglia, “This Is Us”) joins the band for their biggest tour yet, he unknowingly brings a renewed gratitude to Bart’s life through their unlikely friendship. Bart soon discovers that Tim carries hardships—and secrets—of his own, forcing him to face his past and repair his relationships with Sam and his wife, Shannon (Sophie Skelton), before fame costs him what matters most. Based on the heartfelt true story behind the hit single “Even If,” I CAN ONLY IMAGINE 2 is the inspiring next chapter of faith, family, and finding God in the fire.

Brave the Dark

CASA of Wyoming Valley and the Dietrich Theater will host a Complimentary Community Event
Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Dietrich
Brave the Dark follows Mr. Deen, a dedicated teacher who discovers that one of his students, Nate, has been living out of his car and has landed in jail. A simple act of kindness quickly becomes a life-changing commitment as Mr. Deen helps Nate confront past trauma and overcome the inner struggles threatening his future.
Following the movie attendees are invited to remain for a brief panel discussion featuring the film's Producer Nathaniel Deen, senior staff from CASA as well as local child advocates.
Panelists will explore the film’s themes and discuss the real-world impact of advocacy, mentorship, and community support for children and youth who have experienced trauma.
CASA of Wyoming Valley and Lackawanna County are nonprofit organizations that train volunteer advocates who are then court appointed to support children through their time in the dependency system.
A volunteer CASA advocate is often the one consistent adult in a child’s life throughout a dependency case. Advocates stand alongside children as they navigate the uncertainty of the child welfare system, ensuring that each child’s best interests are heard and represented in court. Through this support, advocates help build resilience that can positively shape a child’s future.
Yearly, CASA of Wyoming Valley and CASA of Lackawanna County serve nearly 200 children across Northeast Pennsylvania. However, the need continues to grow, with hundreds of children still waiting for a volunteer to speak up for them. This film offers an opportunity to learn more about CASA’s mission and how community members can get involved.
CASA is actively recruiting volunteers for its upcoming spring training class and encourages anyone interested in making a meaningful difference in a child’s life to attend a virtual information session.
To learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer, please contact Ryan Schofield, Executive Director, at (570) 855-2247 or visit luzernecasa.org or CASAofLackawanna.org
