Hawke/Goble House
72 West Tioga Street 1903-1907
Meshoppen quarry manager Francis Hawke began construction of this stone-and-shingle house in 1903 but never finished it. The stone foundation was sold in 1907 to Samuel Goble, who completed the building. The front porch features square Doric columns that wrap around the porte-cochère and a large Palladian window in the third-floor gable end.
