Soprano Bernadette Boerckel, clarinetist Richard MacDowell, and pianist Gary Boerckel present an afternoon of music in celebration of Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday. The program ranges from the early song cycle "I Hate Music" and his most significant piece of chamber music - the Sonata for Clarinet and Piano - to excerpts for his great stage works Candide and West Side Story.
