Based on the children’s story by Roald Dahl and starring Danny Devito, Rhea Perlman, and Mara Wilson, this film tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, a gifted girl who is forced to put up with a crude, family and worse, Agatha Trunchbull, the evil principal at Matilda's school. However, when Matilda realizes she has the power of telekinesis, she begins to defend her friends from Trunchbull's wrath and fight back against her unkind family.
