Audition Notice for George Washington Slept Here
The Dietrich Theater will be holding auditions for the classic comedy "George Washington Slept Here" by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman and directed by Hoyt Keiser, which will be presented "live on stage" April 28 - 30, 2017, at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock. Auditions will be by appointment on Saturday, January 28 from noon - 5 pm and Sunday, January 29 from noon - 5 pm. Actors needed: 8 women, ages 20-70, and 9 men, ages 20 - 70. Actors may be asked to read from the script. Please call 570-466-9407 to make an appointment for an audition. Rehearsals begin February 27, 2017. There are several positions available for people interested in working behind the scenes. If you have technical or backstage experience or would like to learn, please give us a call.
